About the SiteBiological Psychology NewsLink is a companion site to the textbooks Behavioral Neuroscience, by S. Marc Breedlove and Neil V. Watson, and The Mind’s Machine, by Neil V. Watson and S. Marc Breedlove, both published by Sinauer Associates, an imprint of Oxford University Press. The site provides quick access to links to the latest news and research in behavioral, cognitive, and clinical neuroscience, and cross-references links to chapters of both textbooks and to general topic keywords. Biological Psychology NewsLink gives you a quick way to stay abreast of the latest developments in these fields. How To Use the SiteBiological Psychology NewsLink is designed to be extremely easy to use. All of the links are presented in a simple interface, and all the search functions are accessible at all times. The main frame lists the current selection of links. When you arrive at the home page, you will see the listing of the most recently added links. To view an article, simply click its title. Anytime you perform a search or click one of the chapter links on the left, the results will be presented in the main frame. Each link has the following information:
At the top of the home page is the Featured Link. This is a link that is of particular importance or interest, and it is accompanied by an image from the source article. Following the Featured Link are the 20 Most Recent links, sorted by date. Click the “Next Page” link at the bottom of the page to see the next 20 most recent links. By default, article summaries (often the first paragraph of the article) are shown below the article titles. These can be hidden by clicking the “Hide Summaries” button at the top of the page. To select which textbook’s table of contents is listed on the left side of the page, click a cover image in the upper left. Click a chapter title to display all links related to the chapter, sorted by date. At the top right of the page is the Search box, which allows you to search using two methods:
